He was driving an articulated lorry and lost control on the bend and jumping over the central reservation into oncoming traffic at 1810 on Wednesday. Three cars were coming the other way and they were all implicated, but only two of those drivers were slightly hurt, although they were taken to the Costa del Sol Hospital in Marbella.

The only victim was the lorry driver whose identity and age are not yet known. Local Police in Mijas said he died quickly at the scene.
