Property Rental Guide
This is a brief guide to renting property on the Costa Del Sol, Please seek professional advice before entering into any long rental contracts.
A typical basic rental contract is drawn up for 11 months, within this contract will be a clause that states that the tenants are only using the property for temporary accommodation whilst they are working in Spain.
References are taken in the usual way, as are deposits. The tenant must sign the contract and give their address as a UK address.
The tenant is responsible for electric and water bills and the landlord for all other costs including community charges.
The tenants are in effect admitting knowledge of the temporary basis of the let by signing a 11 month let.
